THE CHALLENGE

BACK GROUND:

The Jarvisburg Church of Christ has won the 2003, 2014, 2015 AND 2016 state power-lifting title.

Currituck high school has won the teen state title 10+ times.

In 2017, Currituck is stepping up to the open division to challenge the Jarvisburg Church of Christ in their quest to claim their fifth state title.

e Jarvisburg Church of Christ has won the power-lifting state title three years in a row and they are the 2013 and 2014 national champions.

Currituck high school has won the teen state title 10+ times AND they are the 2016 national champions. I'm a member of the Jarvisburg Church of Christ team and I admit it, they beat us fair and square.

In 2017 Currituck high school will enter their team in the open division where they will try to end the Jarvisburg Church of Christ's three year reign. We aren't afraid and we want Currituck to bring the best team they have. In the past their full team hasn't always made the journey.

THE CHALLENGE:

Currituck high school has won the teen state title 10+ years in a row, BUT they've never entered the open. Will the Jarvisburg Church of Christ defend it's title or will Currituck high school end our streak at three.
